Research Interests

I am a PhD student in the Databases & Information Systems group at MPII. My research is focused on building a scalable & efficient search infrastructure to analyze large amounts of semantically annotated text. With this research I aim to help linguists, journalists, & scholars in humanities to unlock the treasure trove of knowledge locked inside vast amounts of born-digital artifacts. In short, my research focuses on the following key areas:

  • Information Retrieval
  • Information Extraction
  • Data Mining
