Srinath Sridhar I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Graphics, Vision, and Video Group at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics working with Christian Theobalt. My research interests are in computer vision and human–computer interaction.

In December 2016, I obtained my PhD under the supervision of Christian Theobalt and Antti Oulasvirta. Before that, I completed a masters degree in EECS at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a bachelors degree at the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University.

I have interned twice at Microsoft Research Redmond where I worked with Shahram Izadi. I was also an intern at the Honda Research Institute working with Victor Ng-Thow-Hing.

I develop computer vision algorithms for markerless human/object tracking and use them to create novel human–computer input methods for desktop, wearable, and virtual/augmented reality devices. My work has been published at the top computer vision, and HCI conferences (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, CHI).
