Philipp Christmann was a PhD student at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, supervised by Rishiraj Saha Roy and Gerhard Weikum. He defended his PhD thesis titled "Question Answering over Heterogeneous Sources" in February 2026 with summa cum laude.
